Service Engagement Corps
2010-2011 S-E Corps RFP
Who Can Apply:
Any Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) member institution may apply to host a minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 minimum-time (MT-AC) S-E Corps AmeriCorps members. All ICC member campuses are encouraged to apply.

Availability: 
S-E Corps AmeriCorps programs are competitively awarded once each academic year.  The S-E Corps program year begins September 1, 2010 and ends August 31, 2011.

AmeriCorps Education Award Only Program (EAP)
Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) is excited to introduce the Service Engagement Corps (S-E Corps) program—a new ICC AmeriCorps EAP initiative. The S-E Corps encourages students attending ICC member campuses to participate in a year of AmeriCorps service. AmeriCorps Education Award Only Programs (EAP) programs are ideal for higher education institutions that already sponsor community service efforts and have the capacity to recruit, train, supervise and support these leaders in service.

M3C Fellows Program Minimize
AmeriCorps First Generation Education Award Program

The Midwest Campus Compact Citizen-Scholar (M3C) Fellows Program is a ten-state initiative led by the Wisconsin Campus Compact that is dedicated to implementing institutional change. The M3C Fellows Program is committed to integrating education with civic engagement among campuses across the Midwest.

The M3C Fellows Program is an AmeriCorps Education Award Program targeting first generation and/or low income college students. Students who are involved in this program will receive an education award to use toward tuition, loan payments, etc. in return for community service. The program strives to develop a peer network and provide support that enables students to serve as agents of civic engagement to respond effectively to local community issues. Further, it seeks to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of democratic values and citizenship among participants, and nurture the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to a lifelong commitment to active community and civic engagement
