Community Service Mini-Grants Minimize

ICC provides Community Service Mini-Grants (CSMGs) for students interested in designing and implementing quality, direct service projects that address the critical needs of the community and state. Available in amounts up to $1000, ICC will be looking to support students completing sustainable projects with a positive impact. CSMGs will be available for funding beginning July, 1, 2010— Check back on July 1st for the updated RFP and more information about the CSMG program.

Community Service Mini-grants
These grants fund service projects that could include one-time plunge opportunities such as an annual tree planting/beautification project; living with the homeless to understand societal influences toward homelessness; or a meals-on-wheels project for the elderly and/or ill.  ICC will award 25% of the projects (each year) to support national days of service, such as the 9/11 National Holiday; MLK, Jr., Day of Service; Cesar Chavez Day; or Earth Day. Available on website 7/1/10 contingent upon funding from sponsor.

By giving you the support needed to assume more direct control over the face of your neighborhood, and by following up with implementation assistance, Great Indy Neighborhoods will help realize neighbor-driven dreams and build a neighbor-driven structure that will result in a greater feeling of community and a shared responsibility to maintain and build on community improvements

Action Alliances
Young people can join an Action Alliance with Campus Progress by applying for Organizing Grants: We'll give you up to $1,500 a year to help with websites, flyers or whatever else you might need.
