Faculty Fellows - Deadline extended to April 30th!
This program is a unique opportunity for full-time faculty to integrate service engagement into all aspects of their professional lives – teaching, research, and service.  Funds support the teaching of a service-learning course and a professional service with a community agency.  In addition, selected faculty will work with other selected Fellows as a team to design a group project..

Listening to Communities
Four campuses will be selected to hold a campus and community dialogue to develop implementation strategies for an engaged campus and community.  Recipients will be encouraged to form a post-meeting Advisory Board consisting of campus representatives and community representatives to address the follow-up needed from the findings.

Sponsored Research for Service Engagement
Four research projects per year will be sponsored to conduct research examining the impact of service engagement and campus/community partnerships. ICC will set the parameters on what should be researched. Examples of research could include: impact of service engagement on student retention to the state post-graduation; impact of service engagement on capacity building for non-profits; impact of service engagement on workforce development.

Alternative Break Institutional Program
This award will provide two selected campuses per year with the opportunity to partner with ICC to showcase their community and campus through an Indiana-based Alternative Break program for students from other ICC campuses.  Funds would support either a May break or Winter break through the selected campus.

Student Achievement Grants
The National Education Agency will provide awards to improve the academic achievement of students by engaging in critical thinking and problem solving that deepen knowledge of standards-based subject matter. The work should also improve students' habits of inquiry, self-directed learning, and critical reflection.

Service Engagement Corps Ed. Award Only AmeriCorps Program
An Ed. Award Only AmeriCorps program mobilizing college student leaders in service to their communities to develop new or strengthen existing campus and community partnerships. Available on website 2/1/10 contingent upon funding from sponsor.

Midwest Campus Compact Citizen Scholar (M3C) Fellows Program
An Ed. Award Only AmeriCorps program that supports cohorts of low-income and/or first generation college students who have demonstrated academic abilities while maintaining involvement and a passion for community building through service and civic engagement activities.
