Service Engagement Summit Pre-conference

Community Engagement in the On-line Classroom

Program Manager of Service-Learning at University of Southern Maine and former Program Director at Maine Campus Compact, Craig DeForest, will share insights and current practices in online service-learning based on his work with the Fusion Project, Maine Campus Compact's Online Faculty Learning Community.

The session will include a virtual panel of faculty who have included service-learning in their online classes. Attendees can expect to leave with greater clarity on how community engagement can work in the online classroom and a list of resources, course examples, and contacts to support development of their own online service-learning courses.

Join us at Thursday morning, March 27, 2014.

Registration required.
